PERI opens Irish office

The Formwork and Scaffolding specialist opened its Irish head office in Dublin in June 2019. The decision to establish a base in the Republic of Ireland was made last year to enhance customer proximity to the global network of PERI’s products and expertise, which would support the industry’s forecasted growth.

PERI is a global business founded by the Schwörer family in 1969.  50 years on, and PERI’s family ethos is upheld throughout the company, as it strives to build long-term partnerships with customers. The company places a lot of emphasis on customer proximity being a cornerstone of its global success.

Managing Director of PERI Ireland, Colm McHugh, commented: “We are very excited to be able to offer directly to customers in Ireland our full range of products and services. Investing in a new facility in Ireland will enable us to build strong partnerships with our customers and create employment opportunities in the local economy.  PERI products have been proven the world over, allowing customers to work more safely, efficiently and reduce overall costs on their construction projects.  We are sure that the construction sector in Ireland will also be able to enjoy the same benefits”.

For the past 18 years, PERI has made its products available in Ireland through an external agent.  At the same time, PERI has grown to become one of the world’s largest formwork, scaffolding and engineering providers in the world by working directly with customers. The company felt that it was the right time to offer customers in Ireland the same level of service.

By establishing a business in Ireland, PERI can meet the ever-growing needs of its customers in Ireland through its extensive product range, technical expertise and project support services.  Customers will have access to the high-quality product range it always has, but this will be enhanced with the latest products and support services, such as 3D design, the DUO polymer lightweight formwork system, and the latest MAXIMO wall panel system.

Serving the entire country from its base in West Dublin, the Ireland business is being led by Managing Director Colm McHugh, and supported by an experienced team of Sales, Technical and Operations personnel.
