New board appointments at mac-interiors as turnover increases to over €100 million

mac-interiors, an Irish specialist property fit-out company, has appointed Guy Hollis and Jason Flannery to its board as the company drives further expansion into 2017.

Hollis, previously in senior executive and board positions with CBRE and JLL, brings a wealth of industry experience to his new role as Non-Executive Director while Flannery, who joined mac-interiors as Engineering Director in 2015 following previous roles in Mercury Engineering and Jones Engineering, will bring his building services, engineering and construction expertise to the mac-interiors board.

mac-interiors is a leading management, construction and specialist fit-out company with operations in Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe.  Turnover this year will total €100 million, a 35% increase on 2015.  With 60% of its orderbook already secured for 2017, the firm has also accelerated its recruitment drive to support growth by increasing its employee numbers from 60 to 95, including 35 new Project, Commercial and Technical Services Managers.

Commenting on the new appointments to the board, Paul McKenna, mac-interiors Group MD, said: “We are pushing hard to build profitability and growth by providing high quality interior fit-outs in our target markets.  We are continuing to develop our capacity and expertise to execute this vision and are delighted to welcome Guy and Jason, both with considerable industry pedigree, to our new board line-up. Their addition to the team puts us in an even stronger position to drive the business after a very successful and rewarding 2016.”

The company has had many high-profile projects recently, including work for Hibernia REIT on One Dockland Central, Irish Life on 1GQ, Davy’s development of its Waterloo Exchange facility, KPMG on its headquarters refurbishment in Stokes Place and AerCap’s new 65 St Stephen’s Green offices.  mac-interiors also worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Northern Trust and EY on several projects across the country, as well as expanding its international activity in 2016.
