4th Annual WIT Lean Forum taking place on the 28th of April

Lean Construction Ireland has allied with WIT as part of the LCI’s wider Community of Practice (CoP) to make the 4th Annual WIT Lean Forum one of the LCI’s 2016 calendar events.

Kevin White, Co-Founder of the Lean Construction Institute in Ireland and LCI Core Group member, notes that:
“The vision of the LCI CoP is: “Ireland as a Centre of Excellence for Lean in Construction where Everyone in the Chain Shares Value”. Events such as this Annual WIT Lean Forum provide the LCI CoP and the Irish Construction sector, clients, firms, suppliers, representative bodies, and other stakeholders with a wonderful opportunity to attend Lean Construction presentations and also to attend other presentations on Lean themes common to all, and delivered by organisations from various sectors that have been on their respective Lean Journeys for some time. Such knowledge exchange and integration can only be good for us all in the Irish Construction sector and for Ireland Inc.”

This is an all-day conference on lean process, operational, and enterprise excellence, as well as service innovation, and continuous improvement. Please see www.wit.ie/LeanForum for full programme schedule, speaker details, and presentation and breakout session information.

Following a Keynote from Lean thought leader Professor Peter Hines, there are concurrent presentations and case stories on Lean in Construction, Lean in Healthcare, and Lean in SMEs and Micro organisations. In the afternoon, there are 12 concurrent breakout sessions on a wide variety of topics from Lean and OpEx practitioners and subject matter experts.

This is always a hugely popular event that, in addition to the interesting presentations and breakout sessions, offers a wonderful opportunity for knowledge-exchange and networking amongst and between industry delegates in public and private organisations from across various manufacturing and services sectors.
