Just 2 days remaining to the start of Energy Show 2016

Organised by SEAI, the Energy Show – now in its sixteenth year – is firmly established as the flagship event for professionals in the sustainable energy sector.

Of special interest to the construction sector:

The launch of this document will include a technical overview on the best practice on the energy efficient retrofit of dwellings having particular regard to fabric and building services, the application of retrofit measures on a whole dwelling basis, general building science and the management of retrofit projects in respect of dwellings.

Efficient project design; building labelling, innovative approaches & technologies – SEAI is developing an Energy Efficient Design scheme using the principles embedded in IS 399 Design Management Standard

Renewable energy solutions for large business – Many large businesses are now setting challenging decarbonisation targets and seeking new renewable strategies to help them achieve these targets.

The Retrofit Best Practice Demonstration Area at the Energy Show is spearheaded by the National Insulation Association of Ireland (NIAI) and comprises building cut-away examples, along with a series of live demonstrations of best practice in the sector. This area, now a Show highlight, affords the opportunity for inter-active participation with visitors and facilitates Q&A sessions after each presentation.
