CitA has announced Joern Ploennigs of IBM and Luis Blanes of the National University of Ireland, Galway as the final two speakers for the 1st Event of the CitA Smarter Cooperative Building Series 2016. The event will take place on 10 February in the Gibson Hotel, Dublin from 07.30am to 10.30am.

Joern Ploennigs works as a Research Scientist at IBM. Joern works in the field of Smart Buildings. Luis Blanes is a researcher with a variety of research interests, including BIM and Building Energy, Operation of Energy Efficient Buildings, and Economics of Sustainability.
