Forecourt retailer Maxol is building a major new service station on the N3 at Mulhuddart, this will be Maxol’s largest service station to date.
The project which is on a 2.5 acre site will cost around €4m to develop and will utilise leading technologies including the latest environmentally friendly and energy efficient equipment and design, in an effort to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
Weslin Construction will be the main contractor for the project. In 2014 Irish development and investment group, Ardale Property, acquired Weslin Construction Limited with a focus on growing the core contracting business, while also expanding operations to include responsibility for on-site operations across group wide development projects.
Weslin have completed works for Maxol in the past including its new service station in Templeogue.
“We are extremely proud to announce this significant advancement for Maxol and look forward to opening the doors at this state of the art Mulhuddart site in January 2016,” said group general manager, Brian Donaldson. “The creation of 50 new permanent jobs including retail supervisors, shop sales assistants and deli sales positions will be of huge benefit to the area and overall economy.
