27 new homes at College Square, Terenure, Dublin 6W, have been launched on the market by property consultants, Savills, on behalf of Ballymore.
It is one of the most significant new home developments to come to the market in South County Dublin in recent times.
Construction of the 3-story semi-detached properties has just been completed and they are available at a starting price of €620,000 for a 4-bed and €720,000 for a 5-bed.
According to Savills, College Square is a rarely available park-land development of stately houses situated just four miles south of the centre of Dublin, in one of the most sought-after residential quarters.

The Aster is a 175 sqm /1,891 sq.ft property comprising of 5 bedrooms (3 en-suite), a family bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living space. The Laurel is a 160 sqm/ 1,726 sq.ft. property comprising of 4 bedrooms (2 en-suite), a family bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living space. Each home features a stylish patio area and both rear and front gardens are seeded.
David Browne, Head of New Homes at Savills said, “These brand new, a-rated houses in College Square set a new benchmark in the re-emerging new homes market in Ireland. Superb quality homes with excellent levels of standard specification will immediately appeal to the family home buyer. Upon entering the development there is a feeling of exclusivity and luxury with attractive houses set around meticulously landscaped grounds.
He continued, “Family homes are in high-demand at the moment but there is serious shortage due to a lack of new construction. We have seen the results of this increased demand at many of our recent new home open viewings.”
College Square is located near the village of Terenure, which lies close to the city centre and offers an abundance of coffee shops and restaurants as well as excellent transport links. As the name suggests, College Square is at the centre of many of Dublin’s best educational institutions, with five of Dublin’s finest schools within easy reach. From here you can walk to Terenure College, with an academic tradition dating back to 1860. Nearby are St Mary’s College, St. Pius and St Joseph’s National School, Our Lady’s School in Bushy Park and Templeogue College in the nearby village.
Open-viewings take place from tomorrow (Friday 9th) through to Sunday from 12 to 2PM. A ‘Savills on Show’ app will be available to download for those attending the viewing. The app, developed by Dublin-based tech firm, LocalSocial, enables the user to retrieve information about the property as they navigate their way around. It also provides the selling-agents with the opportunity to engage directly with interested parties. Further information is available at www.mylocalsocial.com
