Saint-Gobain Gypsum National Trophy awards are open for entries!

The Saint-Gobain Gypsum National Trophy celebrates the contribution that contractors and architects make to the construction industry and the craftsmanship and skill it takes to turn a vision into a reality.

Gyproc, Ireland’s leading manufacturer of plaster and plasterboard solutions is calling for entries to its 10th National Trophy Awards 2016.

Entries close on the 30th November 2015

SG-Trophy2016Contractors and Architects are invited to enter completed projects in the following categories:

  • Plasterboard
  • Plaster
  • Innovation & Sustainability
  • Education, Healthcare and Hospitality
  • Residential
  • Commercial (non-residential buildings, including leisure and retail)

 

Entrants will be shortlisted and the shortlisted projects will be invited to the National Trophy Awards, where the category winning Contractors and Architects will be awarded a €2,500 prize each.

These category winning projects will then go on to represent Ireland in Prague next year, competing alongside finalists from 33 countries around the world at one of the largest international competitions of its kind, the Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy.

Historically Ireland has been extremely successful at the Saint-Gobain International Trophy where Terminal 2, Dublin Airport was awarded first place in the plasterboard category and the runner up position secured in the commercial category for the Titanic Building in Belfast.
