Middleton Park House in Castletown Geoghan, Co Westmeath is pleased to announce that it has been acquired by a UK based private equity firm.

The property – which was brought to market by Savills in late June – attracted a high number of enquiries due to its unique nature and stunning original features.

The new owners intend to invest in the premises over the coming years to further enhance its facilities and are committed to maintaining Middleton Park’s excellent standards of service. According to a spokesperson for the property, the existing management and all staff are being retained.

The property is a popular wedding venue. In the region of 80 weddings took place last year. The main banqueting hall caters for up to 200 people; in addition guests can enjoy use of the 4 large reception rooms, bar and a games room.  The property can accommodate up to 50 guests in the existing 16 en-suite bedrooms consisting of 4 luxury suites and 12 standard bedrooms.
